My paintings offer the viewer a window into that place embodying the harmony between people and nature.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor over 40 years Mackin has captured his memories of exotic trips and life in the Caribbean, South Pacific, Asia and the rainforests of the Amazon where he worked as a tour guide.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the 70’s and 80’s Dan worked several mini careers while honing his skills as an artist and in 1989 decided to pursue his true passion full time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom 2003 to 2008 he painted 8 collaborations with Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, depicting his songs on canvas and in 2011 became a licensed Disney artist.
